Kyoto Garden Museum Hiei
京都ガーデンミュージアム
Garden museum Hiei is an outdoor museum with ceramic copies of French impressionist paintings decorated in the garden. Flowers of all the seasons can be seen. Nearby is Enryakuji Temple with a history since the 1200s.

Take the bus from JR Kyoto Stn. or Keihan Sanjo Stn. & get off at Hieizansancho Bus Stop. There is a ropeway to the top.
If you want to visit Enryakuji Temple, there is a bus from the garden.
From Enryakuji Temple, there is a bus to Ohara which has some famous temples. It is possible to stay overnight at one of the ryokans.
