  • Cultural festivals are held in various places.

Nov. 15th Shichi-Go-San Festival Nationwide

In the middle of November, shrines celebrate the 7-5-3 festival for children. Boys of the ages of 3 or 5 & girls of the ages 3 & 7, visit shrines in kimono to receive blessings. Many foreign children can be seen in kimonos & visiting shrines as well.

A parade of thousands of people dressed as heroes and historical figures takes to the streets of Osaka

A 2 km procession of people dressed in Heian era clothing.

The Temple was constructed in 1490.
It is highly recommended that you walk from the Path of Philosophy to Ginkakuji Temple.
